Flownex Simulation Environment Academic
Flownex is used by engineers worldwide to analyse complex fluid systems, giving engineers the ability to simulate even the most complex systems quickly, accurately and easily.
Allowing engineers to quickly determine pressure drop and heat transfer for system components in both steady state and transient, e.g. pumps or compressors, pipes, valves, tanks and heat exchangers, Flownex® also provides an easy way to introduce key concepts of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics at an undergraduate level.
Flownex® Academic now provides access to free course materials that enable academic institutions to introduce Flownex® into the curriculum quickly and easily.
The course material covers both fluid dynamics, heat transfer and thermodynamics and provides access to theoretical readings, lecturer’s examples for use in tutorials, and sample student projects to use as assignments. The assignments are designed such that students can complete them using hand calculations as well as verification using Flownex® software.
