Companies, particularly SMEs, need a rapid way to deploy and benefit from Industry 4.0 technology – starting with connecting their devices through the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT). This presentation will aim to demystify the ways in which digitisation / Industry 4.0 is impacting modern businesses — from Manufacturing Operations and IT to financial forecasting, customer relations, and sales – and show some simple approaches to deliver immediate value and results.

We will show how IoT can give you enhanced visibility and productivity across a manufacturing environment, with a painless, out-of-the-box IT deployment. We will also demonstrate how:

– role-based apps come pre-configured with connectivity to your industrial equipment to provide visibility of real-time data to the people who need it, when they need it and

– you can remotely monitor your equipment from a centralized dashboard to promote predictive and proactive maintenance.

Finally, we will demonstrate how Augmented Reality (AR) is being used to enhance the design, manufacturing and in-service stages of new products and manufacturing processes, as well as overlay real-time IoT data on your equipment to be viewed in-context. We will discuss cases of how AR has been used to deliver measurable benefits in the training of new staff, and how AR is perfect to provide in-context feedback to remote maintenance technicians, showing visual indication of faults and remedies.
