Solving FSI Applications using ANSYS Mechanical & CFD (WA)
November 10, 2015 @ 9:00 am - November 11, 2015 @ 5:00 pm
$1400Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) occurs when a fluid flow interacts with a solid structure/bodies. Flows may exert pressure and/or thermal loads or solids may deform or move due to external forces, driving the fluid flow, or exert thermal loads on the fluid. Multiphysics interactions are inevitable in many engineering problems and therefore an understanding is crucial for better designs.
This introductory 2 day course is intended for new and intermediate users and will provide attendees with an understanding of the basics and fundamentals of using ANSYS tools to solving FSI applications using ANSYS Mechanical & CFD. Students will learn how to use ANSYS Mechanical and ANSYS CFD within the Workbench environment to solve a number of FSI applications.
