Flownex has proven to be an indispensable software tool in the oil and gas industry. It offers the engineer the ability to analyse complex thermo-fluid systems in steady or transient state much quicker and more in-depth than many other tools. Comprehensive 3-D CFD analyses of an entire plant or even sections of a plant are not feasible.

A Flownex project consists of connected pre-built components to represent a thermo-fluid network. These components are often based on empirical relationships, thus allowing much faster and often more accurate results than pure CFD solutions. Solutions take seconds instead of hours or days.
